We are implementing the energy plan of the city of Ljubljana and its surroundings
Energetika Ljubljana, d.o.o., performs the activity of the remote supply of heat (hot water and steam), cooling and natural gas. In terms of the remote heating system’s size, distribution network’s use and sales results, we rank among the highly developed supply systems in Central Europe.
Our many years of experience – 150 years with the supply of gas and 50 years with the supply of heat – make us the right partner with appropriate know-how to deliver comprehensive energy solutions. We have earned the trust of more than 60,000 customers of natural gas and more than 25,000 customers of heat.
The Company’s main strategic goals are aligned with the Local Energy Concept as well as the energy objectives of Slovenia and the European Union.
To provide the reliable, safe, environmentally friendly and economically efficient supply of heat, natural gas and other energy products to the residents of Ljubljana and its surroundings, at competitive prices.
We also focus on environmental protection.
When performing activities, we dedicate particular attention and care to the quality of air and water as well as waste management. Consequently, in Ljubljana and its surroundings, the level of emissions of pollutants in the air has decreased considerably over the past years, whereas the better air quality is largely due to the increasing use of alternative fuels and growing rate of buildings connected to the remote heating systems of Energetika Ljubljana.
In 2010 Energetika Ljubljana became the majority owner of Termoelektrarna Toplarna Ljubljana.
